Found on the northern banks of the Clyde
in the cities East End, Glasgow Green is Glasgows oldest
Park - it can be traced back to the 1400s - and the
scene of many events through history.
It has spent time being used as grazing land, drying
greens, sports area, the site for Glasgow Fair, protest
marches, hangings, markets, circuses, theatres and so
on.
