There is a great deal of painted signage arounf the city ...
some of this style, some from yesteryear, and some very beautifully
done.

There are ghosts of Glasgows industrial past everywhere you
look. This pipe running along the back of Partick Bridge bears
the makes mark for D.Y. Stewarton, St Rollox, 1904.

GLASGOW FLOURISH
All around the city the coat of arms bearing the message
"Let Glasgow Flourish" can be found, it has been
cast, engraved, painted, sculpted, indeed rendered in every
media imaginable. This will become a project in time. |
SUNLIGHT
COTTAGE
One of the many features found in and around Kelvingrove
Park. The "Sunlight Cottage", was build as part
of the 1901 Glasgow International Exhibition showing how people
were to be housed in the future.

"DAVID"
This 18ft bronze replica of Michelangelo's David stands on
top of the roof of Cosmo Ceramics, guiding customers in from
the surrounding streets.
