Restaurant Reviewers Needed.

Postby bite » Thu Oct 12, 2006 2:14 pm

http://www.Bite-Scotland.com is a platform for Scotlands people and visitors to write personal reviews of their dining experiences in restaurants around the country.

We are always looking for new reviwers with a passion for food and a love of writing to join our review team. All we ask is that you have a clear grasp of the English language and can write in a clear, concise and appealing style.

Do not worry if you have no previous copy writing or journalistic experience, we welcome everybody to write.

We welcome reviews on restaurants in all areas of mainland Scotland or Scottish isle.

Go to http://www.bite-scotland.com/writereviews.html for some basic info on what we are looking for. Take your time to look around the site and feel free to email with any questions.

Hello mr/mz bite.

I was trying to read your Edinburgh section, however the html select list used to jump between locations uses a javascript onChange event handler, and as Edinburgh is the default category we cannot go there as we are not changing the selected element. Perhaps this is just a firefox issue (unlikely) however a form submit button or starting with a void select element such as 'Select a Location' would make it work.

I cant believe you managed to get Google Ads working on the site before the navigation!!

Good Luck!

PS. Thank you for contributing to Hidden Glasgow with such passion. ::):

the blink only appears in FireFox, they cannot get rid of it, not even in the script anymore when checked.

try this:

Find the line - <h2 align="center"><a href="reviews.html"><blink>CLICK HERE TO READ REVIEWS </a></h2></div>

take out the '<blink>' and hopefully that should work. Unless the blink is wanted of course

you're welcome. don't need the 'site best viewed with..' now

good luck with the site. it will come in handy when looking for somewhere new to eat.
