My First Camera

Postby donjuan » Tue Mar 14, 2006 9:43 pm

A couple of days ago I got my first ever digital camera, so today I thought I would take it out for a test run. What do you think?

Observatory and graveyard, nice starting point :)

I'd turn the date stamp off, as you can always get that from the exif data stored with the image.

Hey D you never said what you got.Good shots even though they are of a far off land in the east. My first Digital was a fujis2 pro, more extras in it than Gone With The Wind. Wish I still had my first ever SLR though. A cheeky wee Zenith E. Still got millions of B&W negs and the quality was really good.

How do you find the Vivitar 3760 Donjuan because I have a vivitar 3935 and find it uses a lot of battery power when I say a lot I mean after about 24 shots the batteries are dead and thats me using Duracell or Energiser.

I've also tried high capacity (2100 and 2400Mah) rechargeables and their just as bad the photos it takes are quite good but nothing in my opinion you can't beat the good old 35mm SLR

Jim

Ps nice photos

The battery life is fine, I use Energizer NiMH rechargeable and can fill a 128 SD card no problem.
