Couldn't have been anything to do with the fact that Im a short arse (about 5'3") and he is pushing 6'6".
Then a wrinkly middle age woman started to sing karaoke and the whole place erupted into song like a musical. We ended up talking to some of the punters to the point that when we were leaving people were shouting cheerio to us.
Another time I went to the Scotia pool hall with a few people from college and a complete TV camera set up. After a few games of pool I started to notice how people kept looking at the equipment. I got out of there sharpish.
