Give Talking pictures on Sky 328 a shufty or freeview 81, No flash bang wallops or special effects only good quality acting and probably in black and white, for those of you watching in black and white the yellow is behind the pink

I have recorded a few black and white films recently on Talking Pictures.
One is a comedy with Leslie Phillips and Hattie Jacques and the other is a comedy with Alastair Sim.
The last one stars Ralph Richardson and Margaret Leighton.

I also recorded 'Casablanca' which I have watched several times though it was on BBC.

I was trying to watch a show called "Leverage", which was kind of a US counterpart to "Hustle", with maybe a dash of "Mission: Impossible". But it just looked so cheap, I didn't give a shit about the characters, so I gave up after four episodes.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

The 7.39 Part 2/2

Last episode about two people who meet on a train but life gets complicated for both of them.
Sheridan Smith and David Morrissey.

I had watched it before but thought it was more cheery than thing about Fred West on other station.

Since we've got Sky Arts on Freeview now, I'm watching "Tales of the Unexpected".

By jings, but it's cracking stuff.

Henrysix,

That's amazing.

Not being a local I had to Google that and up came a story in 'The Herald' about bridge being moved to strengthen the 30 year old structure.

Happens all the time in the Americas, when I was on Woburn Bypass 12yrs ago we were uprooting and replanting Oak Trees, not always successfully, last week I saved an80yr old Oak tree that was due for felling, anyway it will take 50yrs to regenerate but could live to be 1000yr old, took a wee cut off home as a memento - the arboroculturists were happy I had overruled what was needed and the farmer was happy he had ALL of the wood - nice wee job!

'Roadkill' on BBC.
Hugh Laurie plays a slippery Conservative minister and Helen McCrory plays the PM.
