Hill Street Blues.

Just about finished season 1.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

One of my top 10 favourites.

I can only seem to find it on More4 online but not on any of the streaming platforms. The combination of characters was cleverly formatted and the camera work was unique. Not been anything like it since.

Enjoy and hey, let's be careful out there!

I treated myself to the DVDs as a birthday present. :)

As with most archive TV, half the fun is spotting now-well known actors in minor "before they were famous" roles.

So far, I've spotted Dwight Schultz, David Caruso, Danny Glover, Edward James Olmos, and a baby faced Jonathan Frakes.

I've always fancied buying the set of DVD's but the wife wouldn't be happy as she's wanting to get shot of all our DVD's and CD's, so I have to hide my treasured possessions such as the full set of M*A*S*H. When you watch that there is a list of actors who appear in very minor roles or as guest appearances and they go onto bigger and better things, like Patrick Swayze and so many more.

Only thing that really stopped me from buying the boxset for Hill St, was the cost.... You throwing a watch party when this lockdown is over? :? :D

I think next time I do a Hill Street rewatch, I'm gonna sit with a pen and paper and make note of all the Belker-isms. :)

Currently watching "The Land that Time Forgot" (1975) that I recorded a few weeks ago, and can only be arsed watching now.

Watched the 1967 movie version of "Quatermass and the Pit" last night. Bloody good it was too.
