Darnley & Priesthill Area

Postby meteor695 » Tue Jan 29, 2019 10:01 am

Hello everyone, I was wanting some information please, regarding a couple of weird reports that i heard of a sighting of a really big thing/creature?? just down near the burn/ park areas?
My friend told me sometime last November about the night he was walking his dog down that area around 11pm and he said that the dog suddenly started to get really startled and was pulling away to get away from something in the bush's
That's when he told me that as she was coming out, He said that there was this very large shadow shape thing perched ontop of a railing or fence, and he thought he saw it shaking very fast.
Panic set in and he practically ran up to the house.
Now i seen him again just after new year and he said it had happened again around Christmas time, but this time he didn't see anything, he just heard something moving about the bushes. Same thing happened, the dog wouldn't go near and ran in the opposite direction,
This is where it gets reallt strange, my friend was out walking the dog as usual, daytime and he met some woman that he knew, and she was walking her dog and he casually said to her about his dog being a wimp reciently and he told her what happened.
My friend then said to me that the woman looked very shocked about hearing this and said that she too had witnessed something odd down that area when she was out walking her dog.

I think there's more to this, there are large woodlands in that area, and it would be interesting if anyone else had similar experiences but didn't think of telling anyone at the time.

I think he is indicating that being a resident of this area continuously since 1951, I have heard about 'bogiemen', killer clowns, and other associated 'phantom dark shapes' for many years, and ALL have been found to be gross exaggerations, by people usually loaded with medication.
So the caustic comment, was, I believe the normal response from a local resident who has heard it all before.....

Why and what have i taken it too much for granted? It was a serious request as i have already reported it to Debbie Hatswell, who is one of the Uk's main investigators on this subject, and she was very interested in hearing about the incident(s)
Perhaps people should first ask themselves as to why these things are happening and also what are these reports that happen not just in this country but all over the planet.
I have linked up her website just incase you would be interested.

You will get used to us eventually, stick with us, some have a caustic humour which isn't appreciated or understood by all. Some don't like posters asking questions on their first post but I'm one of those who believes we have to start somewhere.

As I come from the north of city and now live in the western part, I don't know any of the local stories, myths or legends covering the sou' side (apart from short arms and deep pockets) but that's life :D :D :D
