Mysterious Network Rail building

Postby Patstini » Mon Jul 24, 2017 7:33 pm

Does anyone know anything about the Network Rail building on the corner of Salkeld and Cook st in Tradeston? Specifically is it in use? The lights never seem to be on and I never see any activity (as I fly past on the train admittedly)

thats the old central station signal box, made redundant a few years back with everything going to cowlairs. it used to control the paisley lines as far as cardonald, wcml as far as polmadie, paisley canal branch as well as central high level itself

Thanks. I love the airport control tower style windows. Hopefully it can be preserved!
