Dave.
Did the tour today, excellent way to pass an hour or so. won't post my pics as they aren't any different from Dave's.
Paul that runs the tours was both informative and enthusiastic, and gave us some info on things that might happen later in the year. He is hopeful that they can continue clearing the Victorian platform, and lay new tracks into it so they can put a vintage coach in there, and that this could be underway in the next 5-6 months. More immediately, they are going to reinstate the rooftop tour, but as a standalone tour this time rather than part of a bigger tour. This is because of the time it takes to get up and down from the roof.
They are also in the process of painting a mural in the area that was used as a mortuary during WW1, which should be finished in the next couple of weeks. This will be finished off with a plaque to the memory of all the women of Glasgow who suffered during the war. All the info will be on the website as and when it happens.
One stat he gave out, when they did the first tour as part of Doors Open Day 3 years ago they had 100 tickets available. They received 82,500 applications!
