Good Templars Hall, Shettleston

Postby War Baby » Fri Apr 25, 2014 10:54 am

There was a place called the Good Templars Hall in Fenella Street, Shettleston. I know that the Hall existed there in 1928, but can anyone tell me if it was ever used for Spiritualist Meetings in the 1930's or 40's...? My grandmother is supposed to have attended meetings there, giving readings etc. I already know of a marriage that was held there and would like to know if this was a hall that could be hired out for all kinds of various functions. I would especially like to know if Spritualists meetings took place there.
