Looking for real, grassroots honest football on a Saturday ,without the west of Scotland bile that goes on,why not give Queenspark Fc a try. They are playing at Airdries Excelsior Stadium till next January ,as their Hampden home is being used for Comm Games.
The club are running free buses to games from J B McAlpine Pavillion on Letherby Drive ,lesser Hampden.
You are also entitled to a FREE yes FREE pie on return after game.
Tickets are first come first served from 12.30 in Bar,Yep you can also get a Pint before.
If that wasn't enough there is also a Supporters shop just waiting to serve all your consumer needs
Say you saw it on Hidden Glasgow to either of the young glamorous assistants,or one of the auld blokes in shop for a 10% discount.
Home Games at Excelsior Stadium

8/3 v Clyde,The real old firm clash
15/3 v Albion Rovers
29/3 v Pererhead

Is this the same Club as the one called 'Queen's Park'?

In what way is them v Clyde the 'real' 'only' firm? What does that mean?

We don't really 'do' football on HG David but Dessieboy is simply putting out information in a humourous way about his club. Looks like a good deal too, as they try to maintain their support while away from their home ground.

Hi Guys

Yes was only putting it out there that there are other 'wee 'clubs looking for new support.
Anyone that comes along I will gladly stand them a pint in bar before or after games.

And introduce the crowd to the players? Once went to see East Stirling play at the end of a season. Friends boy had a trial game for them. Crowd quoted around 200. I think it was nearer the 100!! And they lost!

It's just that Rangers and Queen's Park are the two oldest surviving league Clubs in Glasgow.
