They've gone now, sadly. Riddrie Crescent is where they were, and I last saw them sometime in the mid to late 90s. Took my husband for a walk round there after he followed me back to Glasgow a couple of years ago, but there was no trace of them.

slightly outwith the city centre i know. but here in sunny east kilbride there is a house of an ex-provost here that has the provost's post outside.

I can confirm that Pat Lally's posts are still in situ as I deliver his post. They are on the corner of Tanera ave and Fetlar drive. I also deliver the current provost Sadie Docherty's mail and there are no posts at her gate.
