Burgh Bar - Paisley

Postby yoker brian » Tue Sep 04, 2012 8:49 pm

Making a rare trip (for me) across the Clyde and venturing to Paisley to meet a former colleague - he's suggested the Burgh Bar for a few beers, just wondering if anyone has any experience good/bad or otherwise of this establishment.

Reasonable prices but lazy, inattentive staff (with a couple of exceptions), dirty toilets with drug dealing going on within. Avoid this pub.

Not a bad atmosphere, however, short measures R us. We used to frequent this bar cos we quite enjoyed the atmosphere (2 minute walk away) & it was so close to where we lived but we were served short/diluted measures on several occasions. (We both worked as bar staff at the time)

"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.
