Many thanks for the link Robert. These pictures are very interesting and many of them are, I would say, of historical significance. I enjoyed in particular looking at the 1960's colour photographs. They are a reminder to those of us of a certain age, such as myself, of how dark and dingy, as well as rundown, most Glasgow buildings used to be. Of course many of the buildings which were subsequently demolished could in retrospect have been saved and renovated. Nevertheless, if you compare the appearance of this city now with what it was like 40 or 50 years ago the improvement has been immense.
