Shook hands with Princess Di in Garnethill circa 1994.
Met Muhammad Ali at a book signing in Waterstones (Ca'do'ro) around 1992.
Said "alright?" to Billy Connolly in the Ashoka, Ashton Lane a couple of years ago.
Saw Eric Stoltz in Glasgow airport back in 2000.

For any lads who enjoyed a bit of WWF action in their boyhood, Brett "Hitman" Hart will be in Waterstones Sauchiehall Street a week on Sunday.

I spotted Mary Sandeman dressed in her 80's Japanese outfit going in to building at the corner of ArgyleSt/West Campbell a while back. Nearly thirty years ago come to think of it. Around about the same time Mr Superbad used to DJ in Targets bar Renfield Street on a Thursday I think it was.

Hey Guys back after a five year hiatus :)

last famous person I saw was Kate Moss at the kills concert in Oran Mor last year....chased her to toilet.

Some rangers player stays in the building next to me no idea of his name though!

Bobby Patterson from Love and Money lived opposite me just before he passed away :(

I painfully see RC in the passing sometimes. The wee guy thats the mechanic dont know his name , any way I saw him in MLady esso garage on Great Western Road and thought I knew his face from some where we worked together. So I satrts with " All right mate hows tricks, still workin then in the motor trade". " Aye sure" he replied So I gets back in the car and the wife asks what I said. "Och no much I sure I worked beside him in some garage.
" Well you must have been in RC ya plonker cause he is the wee mechanic on TV "
Thank you. And why not.

Not exactly on the street but Billy Stark got in a lift with me at Hampden a few weeks ago.

I really wanted to ask "Billy, is that George Burley's real voice or does he just love ripping the pish out of himself" but the polite me won over.

Ford Keirnan was in Greggs in Nithsdale Road today. Sounded a wee bit like his alter -ego Ronald Villiers when he asked for his sliced brown loaf. ::):

Just a simple "Your're not funny" would have been my response. Then maybe a boot in the stones.

Spotted on Buchanan Street just after 5pm today: John Paul McGilvray.

* awaits cacophony of "Who?" *

Anyway, he played Gerry in River City, the solicitor who was a bit too fond of the old (snort, snort) Snow White.

I am guessing he's "resting" at the moment as he was chugging for Shelter.
