I'm sure somebody well versed in the dark arts of php has written something to crawl the web doing this, I've seen a few things that can register and post spam but this seems somewhat more elaborate. I registered ages ago so I can't remember the system does HG have a captcha type thing, all I remember is I needed to e-mail Sharon to get my account activated.

I don't get emails notifying me of pm's for some reason.

Anyway, I've been bothering my swede...

What *would* happen if I took Viagra?

Feel free to hide behind the sofa. :D

Hi guys,

You won't know me because I haven't posted since 2004 and I got this message weirdness, so thanks for figuring it all out that it was Viagra. Less Viagra aggro for me then. Cheers.

Looks like one for the conspiracies thread

HG Admin send out anonymous message to all members knowing that many may not have contributed in a while. Or other such nonsensicle ramblings...............

Hi Dave,
Bots have been able to get through the current phpbb3 Captcha for the past few months - it was always going to be just a matter of time. The fix is said to be in the next upgrade. But there are easy ways to keep them out if they are bots - real people are a different thing.

Today, I had exactly the same experience as Luco. What a waste of time ! What is this all about ? Is anyone getting anything out of it apart from the adolescent thrill of annoying a lot of people :? :?

Someone created an account (using a script most likely) to Spam people. I deleted that user along with their content , hence why some people who clicked through after that didnt have the message at all.
