You're nearly there Curly Sue.

first Paste your image location

http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq25 ... 0s-1-1.jpg

the place cursor at end of url HOLD and highlight all of the URL with your mouse

On my PC the URL is then shaded blue with the lettering in white

You then click on the Img button above the message space

which should place after .jpg

and your picture should appear.

BTW the drawings are great.

always Preview your post before hitting Submit
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

A view of St Roberts Church Hall, Peat Road, it is still in regular use today and has been used for many functions including a Bingo throughout it time, if memory serves me right it was also used for children when they were Confirmed or made their First Holy Communion, after the service in St Roberts the children would walk down the road to the hall were they would have something to eat then receive their certificate and a bar of chocolate from Archbishop Thomas Winning, the presiding priest at that time was Cannon Burns.

Curly Sue, brilliant illustration of St Roberts Church - it's exactly how I remember it. We lived across the road from it, next door to Dr Cowan, I walked passed it every day on my way up to Gowanbank School. Another memory I have of Nitshill/Darnley was the Tram Cars that Terminated next to Darnley Fire Station, they ran all the way past Arden/Thornliebank to Pollokshaws and Shawlands past the Broomielaw up Ingrim Street (past the Zoo!!) and into Argyll Street. Anyone else remember the Zoo - they had a poor Lion in there who was sadly lacking in the Tooth department?

Hi PeeJay1312,

I was reading your comments regarding the "Chain Tree" in the old park, and was wondering if you were referring to this one on the right just inside the gate at the Stoney Bridge Entrance in Househill Playpark.

I was sad to hear that they have decided to remove the "old Irony", I have an illistration somewhere that I will look out and post, I dont suppose you remember the "Tarzan Swing" not far from there, I have one of that too.
