Just back from Italy - Pompeii is fantastic - make sure and arrive early to avoid the crowds though.
I thought I had a grasp of archeology , but I didn't realise the size of the place , that it is an entire walled Roman town

This is Grand Central and its reflection in the glass walls of the Hyatt on 42nd Street


Some of the prettiest architecture are the roof tops of the older buildings. This one is nice surounded, as it is, by nondescript concrete and glass boxes:
