Certainly not, the signage quite clearly states that holding cameras on the rollercoaster is strictly forbidden!

I was on the ground, I achieved the effect of height with, er, prisms...

Just back from Italy - Pompeii is fantastic - make sure and arrive early to avoid the crowds though.
I thought I had a grasp of archeology , but I didn't realise the size of the place , that it is an entire walled Roman town 8O

Not technically holiday pics cos I transferred to our New York office for a couple of years. Snapped these from the 23rd floor:
