I have a couple of overlays here. How do I share them?

I recently starting using Microsoft's Live Maps (Virtual Earth) online instead of Google Earth/Maps because the aerial shots are just so much more up-to-date and sharper.

I've never really explored other uses for Google Earth, other than just looking at places, so this has inspired me to look a bit more into it.

I find the idea of using Overlays in Google Earth really interesting, especially for plotting the routes of abandoned railway lines, does anyone have a recommendation of where a beginner might start?

cheers

It's quite easy to start mapping the disused railway lines with the naked eye using google earth. Good place to start would be kirklee to maryhill?

Totally agree Vinny. I've done it many times much to the constenation of my other half & friends, who (unfortunately) don't share my curiousity for all things forgotten. Imagine my delight if was able to map the various railway paths that i discover. :D

"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.
