H2O, Henry Gorman Band, Orange Juice has lots of records but only a couple of hits.
Ricky Lee Jones was the same.
What about Pussycat. Can anyone remember a female group called Fanny? They had a minor hit with Solid Gold.

I saw them live when they supported Orange Juice in the early 80s. They were using backing track and weren't very good. My friend was completely in love with them though.
Nice view from the front of the stage as far as I remember.

I saw them play at the Doune Castle when I was still an underage drinker many years ago. Full on stadium type show in a Shawlands pub. They had bits of cardboard stuck onto the back of their guitars to stop their belts scratching them which was not rock and roll.

I,ve got their album ROCK AIN'T DEAD. Hamy is all spandexed up with his blond streaks. A real 80s icon.
Thank you. And why not.
