Great photos, Mori.

Was just wondering, what was the building circled below?

It was a big church which apparently started to settle and and therefore was knocked down.

Forget the name of it, but i read about it at length this year somewhere. Some say it was knocked down to make way for road widening etc also.

The 37 from Milton to Castlemilk ran down high st and across the bridge at saltmarket until First Bus took control of most routes.

Notice any traffic light poles still sporting the old black & white stripey look ? I only know of one, it's at the junction of Balshagray Avenue, & Victoria Park Drive North.
Keep meaning to get a photo (I hope it hasn't been repainted :-)).

At the junction of Duke St and High St. You can see one. In the waste ground.

Now if its "the thick banding black and white lamp posts" I've really only clocked 3, left over fom WW2
