Old Glasgow footage released

Postby vinny » Tue Mar 06, 2007 6:44 pm

A 10 minute except from a film called 'Glasgow 1980' can be viewed on the STV website. Some really good footage of the redevelopment of Townhead/Charing X

It's at this page

http://www.stv.tv/content/news/main/display.html?id=opencms:/news/West_Central_Scotland/Historic_Glasgow_films_see_the_light_of_

I'm sure they'll welcome any feedback comments on the page

10 minute original footage is at the bottom of the page BTW.

It's working now :)

The full Glasgow 1980 video is for sale here,

I might try and borrow it from the library.

Directed by Oscar Marzarolli (sp?) no less and can be viewed in its entirety at "Sadness and Gladness" in the Lighthouse until the 7th of May.
