PGCC

Postby HollowHorn » Tue Aug 14, 2007 10:35 pm

Now that PGCC has hung up his Mod helmet, I’d like to thank him for all his good works on this site since practically day one. PG was one of the guiding lights when I first joined & his encouragement & finely tuned sense of humour were instrumental in my decision to stick around. I don’t imagine for a minnit that I am alone in this, I’m sure a lot of people have benefited from the positive contribution PG has made over the years. I hope he remains on this site & continues to post for a long time to come. One thing that will not change is the friendship that has developed between the G-man & myself over the course of my time here, he’s one of that rare breed, a genuine good guy., cheers G.

All of what HH said and more.........

Thank G man for everything you have done to make me welcome and look forward to seeing you on some future visits.

I know that your contribution to HG is appreciated by all of use particularly your work on that special collection. The hours you spent ensuring that this would be available to all contributors to the fund that purchased the collection is very much appreciated.

Your friendship and encouragement to me on many an occasion will always be remembered by me and much appreciated.

Keep posting pgcc

Always one of my favourites. You only have to look through his contributions to the bombs over Glasgow thread, for a photographer he sure has a way with words.

Thanks HH your gien'me a pure riddy BTW

Well here's to all you HG participants, casual bowser's and lurkers (you know who you are  ) a big thanks for all he kind words.

But alas all good things come to an end and it's time for me after 5 year on Hidden Glasgow to hand over the torch for others to have a wee shot at running the show.
It's No mean task behind the scenes btw!

Rest assured folks your're in good hands now that both JohnR and Red Kola will do a sterling job in their roles as moderators, two fellas I know personally and respect,
who will take up the HG challenge in their stride.

Like every forum in the history of the interweb there is always highs and lows and HG has had it's fair share over the years but HG has always came out on top and has went from strength to strength on the back of Sharon and Ians concept to what HG is today.

To sum up I've been privileged to have been part of HG and made many firm friendships along the way and met so many people that shared a passionate affection for all things Glasgow.

I'll still be popping in from time to time so don't think your're getting off that easily.

Finally there are so many folks I'd like to thank personally for their contributions over the years but time and space doesn't allow.

eg:

Well that's made my day Mrs Wummin no hard feelings for difference's of opinion's at times over the years

Sheesh... I'll be planting a kiss on Dexter next! :P

All the best folks and keep on exploring and photographing this fair city

Cheers
