More interest in HG

Postby Alex Glass » Sat Jun 30, 2007 7:52 pm

We are just 24 new members away from reaching that magic figure of 2000 members again.

I have noticed that there has been an increase in the number of people accessing HG recently.

In the section that provides information detailing the highest number of people on HG at any one time no chabge had taken place since September 2006. Within the last couple of weeks this has changed at least 3 times.

Today the highest number online was 172 a new record.

What is happening that has made HG so popular recently?

It'll be all the news reporters coming in here to steal info.

And also those who live in Glasgow worried about the situation and having to wade thru shite to read it.

I also noticed the High number of Guest's earlier. :?

As Tobester pointed out the highest number were online before the incident at Glasgow Airport and as far as I am aware there was not an other major incident the last time a higher number were online prior to the 172 today.

So what has attracted so many guests to view HG over the last month?

The schools and universities are finished and computer geeks out there are earning money spamming newsgroups.

I wouldn't reset it Sharon ;)

172 viewing HG is a good advert for those guests who keep viewing but don't get round to registering.

I wonder how many people recently joint having seen the massive interest in HG recently.

:)

Usually it's got something to do with a web spider indexing the site.
