.mov to .wmv conversion software

Can anyone recommend a decent program to convert .mov files to .wmv format?

Freeware or as cheap as poss !

why to wmv? those are the two suckiest containers/formats you could use. proprietary>proprietary.

I believe that river past video cleaner will do it for you.

I quite like .mov to be honest but that's just down to the no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point attitude of the quicktime player. Easy and fast to use.

fair point, but it's still proprietary, and you need to at least install qt alternative to play it, if not the actual qt app. that's silly, when there's a container format that does pretty much everything qt does, has been around for ages, and is universally supported...

Winavi 6.2 should do the trick. Very good prog.

If you have bit torrent etc you should find it no probs
