Some beltin` pics on here. The one featuring the iron fence through the tree reminds of the story were a british soldier during the first world war chained his bike to a tree near his home.He never returned :( and his bike is still there blended into the tree. There was an article in one of the papers but i can`t remember what one it was.

Glaswegians adopt careless attitude towards disposal of overgrown family pets.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Mystery Light

Postby MacotheIsles » Fri Oct 26, 2007 9:30 pm

Anybody got any idea what the mysterious string of light is in this pic?

Image

I was out walking along an abandoned railway line in the dark the other night and I set the camera to a 6 second timed exposure, standing it on a rail, nice and steady. Afterwards when I looked at the pic I saw this trail of light coming in from the edge, weaving about, dipping and rising again although I didn't see anything in the scene at the time to account for it. If you look closely at the pic the trail seems to end in a very bright spark which at first I thought was just another streetlight in the town, but now I'm not so sure. Anybody got any ideas? Do we have fireflies up here?!!

Its a bee carrying a stick of dynamite which later exploded in the distance 6 seconds into your photo. maybe.
Beware of yawning dogs.
