Before & After #1

Postby Peetabix » Fri Nov 14, 2008 9:31 pm

This game is to help us with our post processing.

I post a picture 1024px on the long side. Apart form resizing no other edits should be applied to the image.

The game will last 48hrs and whoever posts the best edit (judged by the original poster) wins and carries on the game by naming the next thread Before & After #2 and posting an image of their own.

1. Post processing techniques must be included with your edit (filters used, contrast, unsharp mask etc)
2. Don't comment on any picture until the winner has been decided.
3. Be subtle or go mental, it's up to you.

THIS ROUND WILL END ON SUNDAY 16TH NOVEMBER @ 21:30

Please post the above text in every new round.

more like a blue on blue given the markings.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Thanks to the entrants. Hopefully more will pick up on this.

hazy, I really like your take on the shot and that kind of creativity is what I was looking for even though you didn't show your working :)

Tom, your distorted view of Bridgeton has a great drunken, claustrophobic feel to it. Lots of people down there on a Friday night feel the same.

WINNER OF ROUND #1: - Tom

Well done and hopefully more people will join in next time.

Over to you Tom.

I would have liked to see more entries too. Maybe you should run your comp for more than 2 days, to give busy people time to join in!
Due to cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel is off until further notice!

Cheers Peetabix - I can certainly do the drunken bit :)

I do agree , though , that 48 hours is a bit of a quick turnaround for most people. I know it is for me . I have trouble getting the right bin out every fortnight

How about re-starting , with your Brigton Cross pic , as a weekly thing?
