HMS Intrepid assault ship served at Falklands. i served good part of my apprenticeship on her while she was building in John Browns.Does anyone have any memories or are you too young to recall.

I know I had seen this somewhere before. It's was berthed at Sandbank on the Holy Loch last summer.

The owner gave me a tour round, pretty comfortable inside for an old trawler.

Thing that stood out was that it can only berth alongside on the port side as there is no provision whatsoever on the starboard side, for which he commented that it limited thier options where it tied if the weather gets up. Duh!
