I'm going to take pics of the Waverley tomorrow if it's nice, with my new (well it's new to me, and my first one) digital camera. I love the Waverley, can't wait to go on it this season as I don't remember being on it in the Clyde when I was younger. Was on it in Devon last summer though - it's great.

Posted: Sat Feb 11, 2006 10:32 pmThe old lady hit the Gantocks which lay off Dunnon areound the 1980's if I recall. We were preparing a yacht for some of the Clyde races at the time. She was lucky to survive such a grounding as she could have easily broken her back. Refloated at high tides and drydocked. If i remember correctly she had problems with paddles causing her to yaw off course and hit the rocks.
