This got me thinking, where are there palm trees in scotland? My girlfriend's sound asleep just now, so i can't ask her, but she was somewhere fairly recently that has palm trees. A wee coastal place up north, iirc.

I've seen (via SnakeCorp's website) palm trees in Wales.

Plenty of places on the west coast have 'palm trees'
Lagg on Arran is well known for its mature palms, and I'm sure when I last watched the 'wicker man', the Summer Isles had plenty too.
I've got a small one myself!.......less said about that the better.
