I just love all the photos in this thread. I used to do a lot of hill walking and I can really relate to the fun and characters shown in the photos. I have also looked at Peter Kemp’s own website which is full of his own photos

Remains of a Canadian Air Force Lancaster which crashed on Ben Eighe in 1950s. Another dozen feet and it would have cleared the ridge. All the crew perished.

This photo is a WARNING. Please partake in dosage of strong medicines sensibly. As you see myself and BB are not happy about having to replace lost bodily fluids from hard days on mountains. We are having to force horrid tasting , foul, disgusting "medicine" down our necks. This is my excuse and I adhere rigidly to it.
