Couple of interesting spots in town today.

Firstly, the old bus on the way through Bridgeton;

Then when I got to George square I saw this;

Badged up a Central Scotland Police. Too interesting not to follow but I was on my bike so thankfully it didnt go too far, just to the old Building and printing College where there were film crew trucks, a prison van and this Volvo;

Doing a bit of Googling the Volvo has appeared in Jonathan Creek.

Round the corner was a Nova of similar vintage to the police cars so may be part of the filming;

And out on the street was the Chevy Suburban;

I finally got here through a mountain of passports, essays and c v 's. All that paperwork must be a fire risk on this site.

Eeee, that takes me back, mate had a gold 1.6 Ghia on a V-plate, with a brown vinyl roof. Mind you, this was the mid-90s when such things were mostly rusty heaps that people bought for banger money...

My Dad had a blue one when I was growing up, TSF 993R if my memory is correct.

Is that a 'Frank Cannon' Lincoln Continental perchance Dave? Certainly looks like it; a car I lusted after as a kid, even though they're reputedly huge buckets of elephant doo-doo to drive!

Its a big Lincoln continental Coupe but slightly newer than Frank Cannons. I have never driven a lincoln but after driving other full size American cars I can bet the stunt men that drove them fast had super human skills or very strong constitutions.

:D I remember well the sight of this huge tank-like thing bouncing all over the shop at the slightest provocation! My main thought was the driver must have had a stomach like a sailor to survive that without puking!

Busdriver, Just saw your post thanks. I had two Morris Minors at one point Maisy and Horace. They made a lovely couple. Kept Horace the Four Door Split Screen and sold the Two Door Saloon.
