Not so much photos {pretty difficult seeing as I've not been outdoors for months} .. more a topic of interest for the many VeeDub enthusiasts perusing the thread.

VW Campervan Gets Major Relaunch

Thats a bit of a weird article.
Firstly, VW never made a camper van until 2007. VW only ever made vans which have never stopped being produced but have changed model as they got newer. Outside companies converted the vans into campers.
Secondly, the picture they are using to show the "new" van is of a show concept car from 2001 so very unlikely to be built 14 years later.

Volunteer here, Spotted today January the second 2016 is Sauchiehall Street Glasgow.

Just along for the site of the old Kelvin Park Lorne Hotel is this “Forlorne” Morris Minor 1000.

It is a July 1961 model. The give-away is the “Clap Hand” wipers which were designed for the split screen models discontinued in 1956. After 1961 the wiper drive was designed for Flip Flop style.

Also the Trafficator holes are still there minus the Trafficators with the later Front Side /Indicator light unit fitted and a Lucas stand alone add on indicator at the rear,

There are no Glove Box Lids these were discontinued Nov 61.

Some bright work is missing but still good to see an older vehicle still in use.

The Poppy on the grill is the Royal British Legion type which differs from the Royal British legion Scotland type with four petals and not two. I like to see the ex-services community being supported.
