The colour makes me think that's a Little's Chauffeur Drive car

for the early ford escort lovers.... found these pictures in the stalls database.

ImageImageImage

Possibly the original press release photographs from Ford as most of the car pictures appear to be promo shiney car posing pictures. (originally freely downloaded off the internet and resized)

My Dad had one of those a Datsun Cherry also in White, Reg No. GDS 753X
It was bought new by my grandad in 1981. 8)

Dad used to get angry cos they had two wee Datsun Cherry signs on the side and they kept being stolen and we'd go to the scrappy to look for replacements. ::):

I remember talking to an old guy who had worked at Peter Holmes before God left Govan and he told me that he was given the job of clearing out a hole load of old Morris (I think) spares from decades before had had been lying about. All of it was brand new, including brass rad shells and stuff like that and the whole lot went to the coup

Nice old 350SL - pity the guy only had enough hubcaps for the other side!

Those 3 Triumph Spitfires are ones that tip2tail's dad has restored along with his neighbour. The yellow one is infact owned by David (tip2tail's dad).

They have actually recently started a new classic car club for anyone on here who is interested. More pics and info on the Hamilton Classics website (which tip2tail would like it mentioned that he designed and built the CMS for  )
