, thanks very much.Just got a daisy, a spring off a wee torch, put them on a bit of curved white card, and took the shot at the window, with boosted contrast in camera, and slight over exposure to keep the card looking light, and set camera to monochrome. Used a 2.8 aperture I think to keep the spring blurred in the back. Gave it inner dark glow round the edges in photoshop.
It's good to have a go at using just what the camera has available to you, its just finding the time to slow down and take the time to think about it.
