I've posted a "quite nice" (toot toot toot) sunset in the photo-stitching / panorama thread at

http://www.hiddenglasgow.com/forums/vie ... &start=480

Except for the blending during the stitching of the 4 JPGs, it's untouched in any way. Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 775 (2 Mpx)

Not quite in the same league as some of the other photos on here but this is my contribution, from Blackpool at the end of September

Cracking!

Thanks for the compliment, I am pleased with the first one too, it inspired an album name anyway, a band used it for their cd and changed the title to "rustbelt sun" to cater for the image.

Just catching up on all the threads now - well done GB for getting recognition for the pic!

Aye, that'll be shining, cracker!

Cheers HH, I was hoping for a better sunset that night but it just sort of went *pfft* and that was about it. Still enjoyed it though and had a great chat with one of the locals about childhood holidays in Burntisland :) Then off to pick up a couple of beers for the train back to Edinburgh but not before getting a night shots of Edinburgh Castle from across the Forth :)

That'll be Fife I can see from the window :)
