And a good dose of patience to, I'll bet. Well, rewarded with no signs of a join. I love these linear shots, esp when compared to the type that show lens distortion.

Heu G man, there are a few schemes kicking around for the completion of the Broomielaw/IFSD (I hate that stupid tag!), this one for 220 Broomielaw:

This is still in the planning stages:

I am stunned by these panos. Sharon yours particularly I found gorgeous, some nearly achingly!

Now I've gotta try my hand at it, though will need a new tripod ... I don't think mine's perfectly level.

Many thanks to all for sharing ... I'm newly inspired.

Cheers!

Good to see you concentrated on the ship fossil.....but legs, and legless torsos walking around actually make it for me.

I never thought the ship would be that large...16 thousand tonnes I think. Makes you shudder to think what a 150 thousand tonne Nimitz class carrier must look like close up.

Taken this afternoon using my phone's (sony ericsson K700i) built in panorama feature.
You take three seperate images and it helps you line them up by
showing a "ghost image" of the right hand end of the previous pic. Hard to see the join but the quality leaves
a lot to be desired, was pretty poor light though.

pretty cool gaz! i used to live in the next street:)

heres on i took of charring cross the other day.. had a few but the rest didnt come out quite right due to my lack of a steady hand and becuase i was in a hurry.. the quality looks a bit dodyer than it did on my computer too, dont think flickr likes big images. might repost it later.

My first shot at a panorama. Taken today at Portpatrick near Stranraer. Made up of 9 landscape photos. Stitched with Autostitch.
