A drum'n'bagpipes combp in Buchanan Street today; they're called 'Clanadonia' apparently - very entertaining.

The fella on the extreme left was really "going for it".

Didn't have time to get more, sadly.

Edit:- Got the name a bit wrong first time. They're on Facebook too …. clicky

Leo Mushet (forty something eternal raver, bleached hair, specs, neon gloves, dances in a robo-rave style to every busker that catches his eye) remains the current king of the crop. For a while, the sight impaired man and woman who played keyboard and sang respectively, were always to be seen in and around Glasgow. I hope they're ok as they've not been there in years.

My current guilty pleasures among Glasgow's buskers, apologies for any offence caused, are (Top of the Pops music ready)

1. Skinny youth with plume of hair near Hard Rock Cafe in Buchanan Street - quite talented.
2. Punk hipster lady found around Boots/ M&S on Sauchiehall St. Can't really hold a tune or play but I believe it is performance art.
3. Middle aged guy in jeans and black jacket at Pret A Manger Sauchiehall St - tuneless Irish tin whistle effort.
4. Similarly tuneless guitar player - frantic in his attempts to feign playing - in fedora and raincoat near Poundland, Argyll Street.
5.Occasional acapella crooner - late 50s/early 60s male - who stands with cap on ground at bottom of Sauchiehall St.

I'm coming across as an ignorant a***hole I realise, but I've been entertained and paid at least a pound to all of the above.

Sometimes I feel like offering a donation to some of them if they'll stop for 5 minutes.
