Hidden Uist

Postby Molendinar » Mon Jan 23, 2006 8:36 pm

A few photos from my trip to Uist at Hogmanay, when we visited ruined cottages on Bernerry. You get a great feel for their construction, it's like a live 3D cross sectional view.

That's what you call a hoose! Great photos Molendinar.

I bet whoever lived there never needed a prescription from Boots, a TV Times or Epson ink cartridges.

Aye, I've been to Berneray, lovely place. When I went it was before the causeway was even built, we got the ferry over!

great photos!

I'm itching to get out of the city again myself, but I think I'll wait until the weather improves a bit...

The view from the top of here is fantastic (my great uncle took me to the top once).

'fraid not, my other half is from Benbecula and hence my pictures tend to be of the Uists.

Not boring at all Squinty.

I'm just wondering why I didn't view this topic before.

I love seeing photos of places I have never been. Hope we get more.

I wonder how long that wee cottage has been left empty? It certainly has some character about it if that was Glesga the place would be ransacked and burnt down by now :)...Jim
