Pics are great. It is arguably the most beautiful loch in Scotland (apologies to all other lochs). It's my favourite. The light is outstanding. Have you any taken on the east side of the loch?

The first four were taken at about 9 in the morn from Duck Bay,(west side)April this year, the last two were taken at Balmaha,(east side)November a couple off years ago!
If I mind right... :)

My apologies. I thought they were all on the west. I didn't recognise Balmaha at all. No disrespect to your photographs intended. The last time I was there (September 2003) I noticed quite a few changes to Balmaha -- and that's my only excuse!

Thank you!

I'm from the Netherlands and I've got a girlfriend at Skye so almost everytime I visit her I make sure to drive along Loch Lomond because I really love this loch. Especially with Runrig's Loch Lomond coming out of my car's speakers!

Grtz from the Netherlands,

Edwin

I was over in Holland & Belgium for a weeks break earlier this year, mostly a tour of the Battlefields: Waterloo, Oudenaarde & following 20th Corp's route on the road from Grave to Arnhem, beautiful countryside.

In Oudenaarde, we were sitting at a pavement Cafe watching "Beach Volleyball" being played (on tons of imported sand) in the town Square.
As this was going on, & it being VE Day, a column of 20 or so American WW2 Military vehicles arrived and proceeded down the main street with martial music blaring. All in all, a bizarre afternoon! :D

Hate to be a pedant but saying you were in Holland and visited Grave and Arnhem is like saying you were in England and visited Edinburgh and Glasgow. :)
