Why do some drivers Switch their lights on when going through the Clyde Tunnel in daylight?

You still can't. It's a Morgan plus4, first registered in 2006, as per the plate. I've always liked Morgans myself, though the plus8 would be my chariot of choice.

Presumably, some will feel it's a tad dark underground, despite what's going on outside!! Doubtless,some cars will have automatic lighting systems in them, much as my other halfs' car does.
