T'was the fire referred to by Dex in the previous page - work that week took me back and forth along Sauchiehall St a fair bit so I watched proceedings with interest! Few more shots, starting with the still smouldering building the morning after...

can some one get down to the Gallowgate?

Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze at the back of a row of two-storey shops on Gallowgate at 2230 GMT on Thursday.

glasgow City Council said Gallowgate was closed eastbound between Glasgow Cross and Moir Street because of the fire.
