I don't give a fuck.

Yeah, I've opened my eyes and see you taking a photo.

Still don't give a flying one.

It's my jacket now .. live with it, slave.

Volunteer here, I too live with a cat Doorstep. A mature female cat named Spice. I also keep a list of females not to be argued with, her names on that list, pretty close to the top.

Today's pictures are from the Canal Basin at Skipton, Yorkshire. On the route of the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

Shouldn't feed birds, it's not good for them but these pics were taken before I knew better.

First, Mrs Pigeon looks at what's on offer. Then in flies Mr Pigeon with some different ideas.
There is room for puns here about “A Bird in the Hand”, isn't there?

Hi Volunteer;

Not necessarily a bad thing to feed birds - indeed, at this time of year many will benefit from it - just not bread! Corn, seeds and the like is fine; in fact, many garden centres sell (horrendously marked up, but what can you do?!) appropriate seeds and things to feed wild birds with.

Volunteer here, You're correct Boxer6. I should have included I don't take bread to ponds for the birds. At home the Bird Feeder seed ball cage is always topped up and that attracts some local birds to dine. Nice selection of Blue Tits, Finch's occasionally, Robins, Sparrows and Starlings.

When I Googled “Don't Feed The Birds” it brings up some helpful advice on feeding birds.

Today's pictures. All year round I visit Strathclyde Park and Lanark Loch. Winter time I dress up in my “Penguin” look.

That's some look you've got there, Volunteer; though your last photo's a bit worrying...

Here's a couple from 1979 at Loch Morlich: a whole roll of Kodachrome to get only two decent shots:-

Volunteer here, Worth the spool by the looks of it Neilmc.

Looks like these Gulls have you in their sights for a Bombing Run.

Nice part of the country too. I've spent some time at Rothiemurchus Lodge. Walked the length of the Lairig Ghru from Braemar back towards Aviemore. One day out to remember.

Volunteer here, Travelling up and down the M74 Motorway the Annandale Services is a favourite halt.

In daylight hours a coffee and a look at the wildlife on the loch.

The other morning just after 3.00 a.m. spotted these characters wandering in the forecourt. Not a care in the world. Curious as
to who we were.

Beautiful, to be sure, but evil all the same. 8O

Heard, then saw, Great Spotted Woodpecker high up in tree in Kelvindale. Pity I only had the point and shoot, but I did capture it. (Scrabbles around looking for picture...)

Volunteer here, on the Classic Car Drive It Day on Sunday the 26th of April 2015 I headed for Summerlee Heritage Centre.

Great day lots of cars and enthusiasts along with families enjoying the day.

In the Basin below the museum is part of the canal branch from the Monklands Canal. There is the Vulcan sited, first steel hull to sail on the Monklands Canal, worth a look.

A Heron landed in the water and waited a while then began lunching on small fish. Usually shy creatures this one noted our presence but did not move on.

Lovely to watch.

I'm sorry if it's just cats, cats, cats - but I haven't been outside the door for anything other than emergencies and doctors appointments (and *very* early coffee with the Lone Groover}

Here it is, right out of the lens.

Shoot me. See if I care. You're probably doing me a favour.
