Got lots of happy childhood memories of Wemyss Bay Station. Was down a couple of Saturdays back, reminiscing about those days & remembering time spent with my grandfather.... For another day though.

LIkewise but as a wean I was only really interested in getting on the ferry to Rothesay. More recently Wemyss Bay has just been somewhere you drive through on the coast road to Largs

I believe this pic was taken during the construction of either the Barking Road Bridge or the Blackwall Tunnel in London. Date would be approx 1930, possibly late 1920s.

There is a pretty good chance that this is Glasgow (second option is London). Date will be 1920s, but not sure of exact location if it is indeed Glasgow. (Don't say it!!!) Lot of noise on these pics but hoping to hook up a better scanner very soon and spend some serious Photoshop time in restorative work.
