Wasnt sure if you were leaving or just parking up Dave, I did have a wee look about but never saw your car again or many VW's for that matter. Was nice to see a lot of well looked after classics and the rain stayed off for the few hours we spent wandering about. I met the guy who owns that lime green Cortina thats been spotted a few times on here, and his dad at the fish van, really nice couple of guys, even gave us vouchers for free fish n chips haha result

I was just leaving Im affraid as I had to be somewhere.

I think most of the VW guys are finishing things off before Volksfling at Biggar in a few weeks as this is the biggers VW show in Scotland.

Why the obsession with parking on the pavement?

No obsession, in that particular situation it is safer. I parked the van, I was there so I made the judgement call.

There is plenty of space to pass the van on the pavement and as ther is a junction near both ends it allows a much safer view for anybody entering the street.

Safer? How the fuck can parking on a pavement be safer? Don't you get the concept of pavements for pedestrians?

Is the VW parked on the pavement across the road yours as well?

Calm down, nothing is parked there over night and there is plenty of space to pass on the pavement.

With kids in the neighborhood on bikes and playing in the street it is far safer to be off the road a bit so that people entering the street in their cars have a better view up the road.

If you want to be a keyboard warrior feel free but I have no need to justify my parking to you if you are going to get all hissy about what you think you see in 1 photo.

That'll come as great consolation to the night-time wheelchair users. 'It's OK guys; he disnae park there overnight'
