Allow me a couple of guesses at the location as an ex-pat of nearly fifty years:

1. St George's Cross

2. Charing Cross

I don't care if I'm wrong, it's still one of the most wonderful pictures of Modern Glasgow I've found during my exploration of my roots !

Hi Old Fart. These photographs are superb. My wife and son were walking past when I was looking at them and they both stopped to say how amazing they looked.
