My heart was broken when I walked past and it looked like this place has closed down - with whitewashed windows etc. All the stuff still looks to be inside though.
Anyone know if it has indeed closed, and when or why it happened? Succumbed to the dominance of Gregg's I presume?

I don't know anything other than it's been shut for a few weeks now...

Was there a story behind the "N" in PANTRY on their sign, being back to front for years?

I can't say that i'm sad that it's closed down, I cracked a tooth on a bit glass that was in a roll that I bought there. I called the environmental health and they found nothing.
