I have 3 LPs of Glen Daly Live at the Ashfield Club, I am wondering how many Glen Daly Live at The Ashfield Club LPs there are. I am too young to have been there was anyone here at HG ever at a Glen Daly night at the Ashfield. I wish I had as it sounds a right good laugh and sing song.

The 3 I have are all different Glen Daly live at the Ashfield albums thats why I wonderd how many different Live at the Ashfield albums there are.

Sorry sort of misunderstood your post. The one that i have has GGL 0434 on the back of the cover in the top right hand corner. From what ive heard from older relatives he used to play the Ashfield quite regularly so there me be a few recordings kicking about.

When I was about 7 years old and living at my grandparents house in Pollok me and a cousin of similiar age were told we were going on a trip to visit relatives somewhere, off we went. We didnt go to visit relatives we went to The Pavilion Theatre for the Glen Daly christmas pantomime, Mother Goose.We were in a private box overlooking the stage.

At the interval Glen came on , sung a few numbers then a few acknowledgements to the audience, one of which was a thank you to my Grandfather and family. The spotlight was shone on us and the audience were clapping. My slightly snobbish Grandmother was lapping it up, me and my cousin were horrified, slinking down into the seats to avoid the spotlight, were not celebrities, get us out of here.
