I now see the vision on http://www.futureglasgow.co.uk cultural pages, I'd attempt to paste the picture here but rather than make an arse of it I'll leave someone else try. Heading is 'Imuya'

WOW this looks great.........what a difference this will make! My mum is amazed and delighted this will happen in an area where she was brought up in, in the shadow of the power station!
Cheers all

Hi cozycoupe

I was going to piggyback on this but felt I lacked the relevant research to add to the already sound work here

http://www.hiddenglasgow.com/forums/vie ... =25&t=6816

It looks like this will fit snuggly on the Rivers edge right in the middle of the Olympic Village (purely guess work btw)

I wonder if it will warrant it's own subway station, I know the political bribe of an extension is due to head out to Cellic park so.......

Anyways I let those learned ones create more stir about it

This looks really interesting. I passed there on Saturday, on the other side of the river, so I'll need to venture over to the other side soon to see what's there.

A few of us have been down that way over the last couple of years. Also know as The Cunningar loop. Well worth a vist. But beware your footing for those large and deep pits. Last time I was down that way the had some parts taped off due to the large about of Japanese Dog weed weed??
I think theres a topic on HG about this I will try and look for it  :D

Why was the dogweed taped off? Is it poisonous or something?

I take it you mean safety in numbers.

Pulled the car up. Parked, got out. Started walking, Saw folk approach with 'wine' bottles looking for fagbuts next to an old fire and generally acting suspicious. They tried to make an advance but luckily they were shit feared of my wee doberman pup :D

If I go again I'll rally a posse for sure.

I think he means giant hogweed. You really don't want to be touching that stuff.
